Board Gremlins Yes, that’s right boys and girls, Board Gremlins.  They do exist.  And Jericho Rally Point has them.  

What are Board Gremlins you ask? Board Gremlins are much like Nose Gremlins, except they hide more.  They seem to mostly come out at night or in the wee hours of the morning and wreck havoc on the boards.  There is no rhyme or reason to their destruction either. Known to lock threads, ban members and send out multiple private messages and newsletters, they are frequently spotted locking members out of their own accounts and crashing the boards entirely as well. Recently they also made some boards invisible unless you were logged in.  In fact, I have one in my account as we speak.  It keeps saying I have new messages, but I don’t!   

Board Gremlins have a voracious appetite too.  They seem to have a fondness for Firefox spell checkers and email addresses.  They don’t eat at regular intervals either; their eating patterns are completely random. 

No one knows where Board Gremlins come from exactly but some experts think they come from the same place as the Washing Machine Dragon who steals your socks from the laundry.  Yes, the Washing Machine Dragon is real too.  I know no one believes me, but I’ve seen him.   

Do we need to fear the Board Gremlins?  Probably.  If we don’t all stay on our toes I expect one night we will all wake up tied down with our own socks, tiny gremlins dancing around us with pitchforks and chanting.  

So what do we do about Board Gremlins?  Stay vigilant Rangers!  If you suspect a Board Gremlin is afoot please inform the staff.  If something happens to you please take a moment to consider that it could be the work of a Board Gremlin and contact any of our moderators.  Our Moderators are specially trained to battle these creatures and will do their best to capture them and undo their Machiavellian schemes.
