Many arrived tonight, ie Thursday, to get things ready for Jerichon 2008. It's 1am and things are finally settling down for the night. With two tornadoes nearby, lots of hail damage, and storms forecasted for the weekend, it should prove interesting. Stay tune for more information including two big announcements!

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about this show, and what it means.  Some have said it feels like they've lost a family member.  I can certainly understand that.  Significant losses of any kind (home, job, pets, etc) trigger a natural grief response.  We've all been going through the stages, without realizing it.

DENIAL:  "I can't believe this happened!  CBS was really going to count all of our online and time-shifted numbers, and were going to have a 3rd season."

(March 21, 2008) Whitfit is a Board Member of the Guardians of Jericho, Inc.

As we wait for official word of Jericho's fate from Carol Barbee (we know its been cancelled on CBS, but CBS-Paramount and Junction are shopping it around to other venues), the Guardians of Jericho want to reaffirm our committment to making Jerichon 2008 a success. We will not allow the cancellation of Jericho to cancel the Jerichon, assuming that enough people are still interested in attending.

It's reality check time.  It's time we all take a step back, and remember the quote from the MST3K theme song:  "Just repeat to yourself it's just a show, and you should really just relax."  It's also time to quit shooting the messenger here.  In response to negative posts and personal attacks on Michael Hinman, we have to remember that he is on our side!  He just has a job to do, and fans attacking him for doing his job the right way are being counter-productive.  Once we start fighting amongst ourselves,

Sorry about missing yesterday, got tied up with work. So, today we're taking out of the country to Bulgaria, where they celebrate Antonovden (St. Antony`s Day). For those that have issues with religion, perhaps reading further would not be a good idea, however, you learn a lot of a group of people by what they consider reverent.

For those that don't know, today is a very important day in American history. It's Ratification Day.

On January 14, 1784, the Treaty of Paris was ratified by the Continental Congress. It ended officially the Revolutionary War, thus establishing the United States as a self-governing nation.
